Last sunday service dave mentioned something that i have really been thinking a lot about lately. Dave said that it is easy for us, especially young men, to focus so much on the future and what we want that we forget about the present. Being a recent graduate of spring arbor university and having so many crazy dreams i find myself caught up in this very problem. I dream so much about what i want in the future that i forget about the present. What i am learning is that i need to focus on the here and now and let God unravel whatever it is that my future holds. Can anybody else relate to this? What are your thoughts?

Sorry for the delayed response. I have the opposite proiblem. I focus too much on the now. I hate those questions... What will you be doing ?? years from now? I DONT KNOW! Ask me what I have done. Ask me what I'm
doing. How can someone be impressed by what you expect will be? I think what you learned from what you allready have experienced is far more impressive. But that way of looking does have a bad side. By totaly giving the future a blind eye, mistakes are twice as costly. (And you don't know the cost until the future catches up with you.) So Maybe there needs to be a balance. I don't know. Maybe you should plan my future, and I can give you daily tasks. :P
