I want to know how you guys are always on! I mean the creative juices seem to run abound with the fusion team. Any where from the amazing music to the always interesting video clips and well the message is alway written just for me, or it seems. thanx, hubbs. encouraging words. howard hendricks once said he never wanted his students to drink from a stagnant pool. that stuck with me. when it comes to the creation of a weekend fusion, it is the culmination of multiple resources from media to movies to books to art, networking with others, creative collaboration, immersion in pop culture, hard work, prayer, risk-taking, teamwork, and--quite frankly--a freedom to use our own God-given creativity because we believe God is worth it and people are worth it. glad it is working for you and meeting you where you're at. peace. |

Having attended Westwinds from the days of the karaoke background tapes, to multiple incarnations of the music I just want to say that I enjoy the current incarnation best of all I've heard in the last dozen years. It has much more of a contemporary and "fresh" feel to it. More of the type of music we'd expect to hear currently playing on our local Christian Radio Stations. This serves a double purpose in that when I hear those songs on the radio now I'm more inclined to harken back to the service and enter a mindset of praising our marvelous Creator!
YOU ROCK!
